Councilman Todd Klein listened to concerned citizens at Citizens with Coffee Saturday morning.

The discussion covered topics like the city charter, that Klein said at some point he would like to see revised.

Klein will also be requesting that the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, the downtown TIF, LP&L, The Water Advisory Commission, and others be available to speak before and provide reports to the City Council as early as its next meeting.

"A big issue I have talked with the community about for many years is storm water,” Klein said, “both in terms in getting street maintenance out of storm water hopefully we can do that this budget session. Commercial accounts regardless of size or impact in terms of run-off and paying the same price in terms of storm water. “

Other topics addressed were codes, neighbored issues, and urban re-development.

District 2 Councilmember Floyd Price will hold a town hall meeting Monday night at 6:30 at the Emmanuel Worship Center at 1102 70th Street.

The event is open to all Lubbock residents.
